Working for Southwest Conservation Corps

Programs range from 8 weeks to 1 year in length. Individuals that commit to at least 8 weeks of service are eligible for an AmeriCorps Education Award in addition to their weekly stipend.

Southwest Conservation Corps is a learning experience. We are looking for motivated individuals who can commit to completing the program and who have the desire to learn new skills. No previous work experience is required. However, individuals with experience may choose to participate in one of our more challenging programs such as our Backcountry Conservation and Continental Divide Trail Alliance crews or Wildfire Prevention and Crew Leader Development programs.
